Ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your wigs because it's time for an evening of education, entertainment, and fabulousness like you've never seen before! Join us for The Fireside Chat with your host, the one and only Dr. Zackarina - a queen who's all about that campy, Gen Z drag and public health activism. She's bringing in some of the fiercest guests you'll ever meet - Mitch Rinquist, owner of the legendary Bunkhouse Lodge; Kim Kuzma, an international recording artist with a heart of gold; and Dr. Dean Nelson, founder of the Olympic Pride House.
Dr. Zackarina is ready to take you on a journey, exploring the history of the Bunkhouse Lodge and its pivotal role in shaping the LGBTQ movement, both nationally and in the great state of Colorado. With Mitch by her side, get ready to hear stories of the Lodge's most iconic moments over the past 50 years and learn what's in store for the future.
But wait, there's more! Dr. Zackarina is going to get campy with Kim Kuzma as they dish on all things POP culture, Kim's experiences as a straight ally, and how Pride has evolved over the years. Get ready to gag as they spill the tea and share their thoughts on where the rainbow road might take us.
And last, but certainly not least, Dr. Zackarina is getting sporty with Dr. Dean Nelson as they talk about the future of sports and inclusivity for LGBTQ athletes. They'll dive into the groundbreaking work done by the Pride House at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and what it means for the future of sports.
It's all going down in this action-packed 60-minute show, bringing together history, POP culture, and sports with a fabulous rainbow lens.
